Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)

PRP steht für (englisch) platelet-rich plasma. Das Kürzel bezeichnet Plasma (den flüssigen Anteil des Blutes), das mit Blutplättchen (Thrombozyten) angereichert wurde. Die Anreicherung geschieht mit Blutplättchen aus dem eigenen Blut des Patienten. Dazu wird ihm Blut entnommen, dieses in einer Zentrifuge in seine Bestandteile zerlegt und dann in einem mehrphasigen Prozess ein Maximum an Blutplättchen gewonnen. Das mit CellularMatrix hergestellte Thrombozytenkonzentrat des Patienten liefert ein autologes Reservoir an Wachstumsfaktoren aus dem Blut des Patienten. Wir spritzen das A-PRP mit Hyaloluronsaüre (HA) direkt ins betroffene Gelenk.

The advantages of platelet therapy
